No reports of illegal fishing by foreign fishing vessels off the north coast of County Mayo have been received by my Department in recent years nor has any illegal fishing been observed in the course of normal periodic patrols of the area by An tSeirbhís Chabhlaigh. The various fishing areas around our coast receive appropriate attention commensurate with our resources.
