asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in relation to a reply of 15th March 1962 whether local authority dwellings were included in the survey.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Survey.
41.
Each housing authority was requested to prepare schedules of all unfit dwellings in its area.
Can the Minister say if local authorities examined their own dwellings when this survey was being carried out?
It is difficult to say that. However that they have been requested to do so, I am quite sure.
Is the Minister satisfied that his instructions have been carried out?
Satisfied, until informed otherwise.
If I inform the Minister now——
I shall be quite happy to receive the information.
——that the local authorities did not consider it necessary to examine their own houses, no matter how unfit they were——
I shall be glad to have that information, if anybody has it.
