The number of houses in respect of which grants were paid in full under the Housing Acts during the year ended 31st December, 1961, was 3,982. 1,274 houses were erected by local authorities in that year.
Particulars of capital expenditure on the provision of local authority houses for financial year 1960/61 are not yet available.
