I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the Cloonacool rural area, County Sligo, has been considered by the Board from time to time for development under the Rural Electrification Scheme but has not been successful.
The Board are not in a position to say when supply may be extended to the area.
The position of areas which will not have received supply when the present Rural Electrification Scheme is completed this year has been under active consideration and I hope shortly to be in a position to make a statement in the matter.
