Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois and Offaly Road Repairs.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide money to repair the bog road in the townlands of Coolagh and Clonlyon from the county road convenient to Mr. Brendan Scully's house and west to the turf bank of Mr. John Multany, Coolagh, Clonaslee, County Laois; and if his inspector will undertake a special examination of this work in view of its importance and urgency to the local residents.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will take steps to repair the bog and accommodation road and the link road from the county road at John Murray's house north-west to the county road convenient to George Smithson's house with the branch north to the bog at Samuel Hodgin's land at Knockamase and Golden Grove, Roscrea, County Offaly; and if he will ensure that this work is attended to without delay in view of its local importance.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will take steps to have money provided to repair the bog road at Lisduff, Errill, County Laois, from the county road opposite Edward Campion's house to the turf bank of Mr. John Delaney; and if he will have the proposal inspected with a view to having the work carried out without delay because of its importance to the local people.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will take steps without delay to repair the bog road from Dernacart crossroads east to the loading ground convenient to Mr. Edward Hippwell's turf bank at Upper Forest, Graigue, Mountmellick, County Laois, as this important road is used by many turf-cutters.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 12 to 15 together.

Particulars of these four works were given on 14th November, 1961, to all the Deputies for the constituency.

The works have since been done.
