asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the iron bridge over the River Deel at Crossmolina, County Mayo, is not now considered safe for the heavy traffic passing to Bellacorrick power station and the barony of Erris, owing to excessive rust erosion on the bridge; if it is proposed to take steps to have a modern bridge built to replace the existing one; and if he will state the estimated cost, and the amounts to be borne by (a) his Department and (b) Mayo County Council.
