A Bill to amend the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts so as to vary the system of distribution of the Agricultural Grant during the financial years 1962/63, 1963/64 and 1964/65 on the lines indicated by the Minister for Finance in his Budget Speech will be introduced in the Dáil during the present Session. The new provisions in regard to the grant of the employment allowance will apply in respect of farm workers employed during the calendar year 1961 and the two following years.
