asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether he is aware that a resolution was passed at a representative meeting summoned by the Tralee Tourist Association, at the behest of the local Chamber of Commerce at Tralee, stating that as Tralee, Banna and Ballyheigue, County Kerry, formed a natural geographical unit with the Dingle Peninsula the area claimed a right to be included with the peninsula as a major tourist area; and whether he will take any steps to meet the wishes of the people of Tralee, Banna and Ballyheigue in this matter.

The selection of the areas to be included in the scheme for the development of major tourist resorts is a matter for Bord Fáilte Éireann and any inquiries the Deputy wishes to make about particular cases should be addressed to the Board.
