The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that a site which may be suitable for a new Garda station has been located and that they are pursuing enquiries in the matter. They have also informed me that, because of the poor condition of the existing station, they are negotiating for the acquisition of temporary accommodation for the Gardaí pending the erection of the new station.
