Since I replied to the Deputies' previous Question on this subject on 30th May a trial consignment of butter has been sent to Italy. In addition a further quantity is being sent to West Germany in the present week.
The Chief Officer of An Bord Bainne is now visiting a number of European countries with a view to securing additional outlets for butter.
