asked the Minister for Justice whether his attention has been drawn to the survey of court facilities in ten countries, including Ireland, the results of which were announced at the International Bar Association conference in Edinburgh on 19th July; whether the results of the survey in this country have been made available to him; whether he will investigate the provisions for the convenience and comfort of parties and witnesses in this country; and whether he will have any necessary improvements in these facilities carried out.

As far as my Department is aware, no survey has been carried out by the International Bar Association in this part of the country.
I have instituted inquiries with a view to procuring a copy of the survey in question, in case it might be helpful to my Department in considering these matters.
