Due to a late attack of blight, blackening of potatoes has occurred in a number of areas. In such areas, farmers would be well advised to use blighted tubers immediately for conversion into silage or for stockfeeding as far as this is practicable.
I do not consider that special measures of assistance would be warranted or practicable.
