I understand from An Bord Iascaigh Mhara that they do not keep separate records of sales of imported fish but that the cost of their imports of smoked and fresh fish in the year ended 31st March last amounted to approximately £58,000. The Board have not ceased dealing in imported fish yet but will do so next month for smoked fish and next April for fresh fish.
