The Consumer Price Index is compiled at four quarterly intervals each year, mid-February, mid-May, mid-August and mid-November. The Index (base mid-August 1947 = 100) rose by 6.8 per cent. between mid-February 1959 and mid-August 1962. The figure for mid-November 1962 is not yet available.
