According to the latest figures available there are slightly over 4,000 families on the Dublin Corporation's effective waiting list for rehousing and 886 families on the Dublin County Council list.
Dublin Corporation had, at 31st December last, 1,015 dwellings in progress or in tender and 1,454 sites either developed or in course of development. At the same date, Dublin County Council had 37 dwellings in progress or in tender and were developing sites for a further 132.
