I have conveyed to the Galway Harbour Commissioners my consent to the acceptance by the Commissioners of the tender they had recommended to me for the Galway harbour improvement scheme.
Can the Minister indicate when work on this scheme will begin and, further, will he guarantee that there will be no hitch in this scheme?
The responsibility for the implementation of the improvement scheme devolves on the harbour commissioners themselves and the Deputy would have more influence with them than I would.
