I informed the Deputy on the 11th December last, when replying to his previous question on this matter, that the proposal of the Dublin Health Authority to adopt revised salary scales for health inspectors employed by the authority has raised an important issue by reason of its implications in regard to other health authorities and other grades of staff and that I had caused a communication to be sent to the Labour Court. The matter is still under examination in my Department in the light of the reply which the Labour Court has furnished to that communication. I shall convey my decision to the Dublin Health Authority as soon as possible.
