With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving details of our imports and exports to France in the past four years on the lines requested by the Deputy.
With regard to the exportation of working type horses, the Official Export List distinguishes only between bloodstock and non-bloodstock types, and does not classify non-bloodstock horses by age. It is, therefore, not possible to relate the decline of nearly £337,000 in the value of the exports of horses, other than bloodstock, precisely to the categories covered by the order.
