asked the Minister for Education when reconstruction work, including the addition of a flush lavatory and water supply, will start at St. Joseph's national school, Ballingar, Dromahair, County Leitrim.

A grant has been sanctioned towards the cost of carrying out a scheme of improvements including the provision of water-flushed toilets at St. Joseph's National School, Killenummery, County Leitrim. The making of the arrangements for the carrying out of the work is now a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works.

I am unable to say at this stage when work on the execution of the scheme will commence.

A report as to the suitability of the site offered by the Reverend Manager for the new national school at Killavoggy, County Leitrim, is awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works.
