Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Manual Workers in Department of Education.
51.
The normal hours of work of three persons employed by the Department of Education who might be described as manual workers exceed 48 per week. These persons are not industrial workers to whom the provisions of the Conditions of Employment Act, 1936 apply.
Would the Minister say what they do?
They work in the model schools. They do not teach. They do manual work outside and inside at the Athy, Limerick and Monaghan model schools.
