asked the Minister for Finance whether, in all cases where licences were issued by the Department of Industry and Commerce for the import of ladies' stockings under the Control of Imports Quota (No. 12) Order, 1935, and stockings were imported on foot of these licences, the Revenue Commissioners are satisfied that the condition of the licence restricting importation to stockings of a value of not less than 50/- per dozen pairs was complied with, particularly with reference to licences issued and stockings imported during the period 1st January, 1962 to 31st March, 1963.
