As Irish Shipping Limited are not engaged in the regular cross-Channel freight and passenger trade, the question does not at present arise.
As a member of the inter-Governmental Maritime Consultative Organisation and of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, we are committed to the policy of supporting the freedom of shipping of all flags to participate in international trade and are precluded from taking any discriminatory action in support of national flagships.
