Ambassador Irish Oil Company and their associates have undertaken some exploration at Ardvarney, Glenfarne, County Leitrim. Operations there have been suspended while exploratory work is being carried out in other areas. Subject to the provisions of the oil agreement, it is a matter for the company to select the areas in which exploration will be undertaken.
