The Galway County Council carried out a revision of general medical services cards in Gort dispensary district in October, 1962. Before the revision took place the number of cardholders was 185 and the total number of persons covered, that is, holders and dependants, was 615. After revision the numbers were 177 and 593 respectively.

The Galway County Council carried out a revision of general medical services cards in Ardrahan dispensary district in October, 1962. Before the revision took place the number of cardholders was 152 and the total number of persons covered, that is cardholders and dependants, was 504. After revision the numbers were 146 and 484 respectively.
