Statistics of old age pensions are kept in respect of counties and county boroughs only. At 31st December, 1962, the latest date for which figures have been compiled, 8,433 noncontributory old age and blind pensioners in Dublin County Borough were receiving the full rate and 910 were receiving reduced rates. The corresponding figures for old age (contributory) pensioners at the end of last month were 7,838 and 708.
