To enable this work to proceed it is necessary for the Donegal County Council to acquire a plot of ground above the high water line. I understand that arrangements for the acquisition are nearing completion. It would, however, be undesirable to start work on this exposed island site during the winter months and it is proposed to defer a commencement until next spring.
