Housing authorities already have power under the Housing Acts to acquire any houses or buildings which might be made suitable for the accommodation of members of the working classes.

Will the Minister have consultations with Dublin Corporation so as to encourage the Corporation to use that power? There are now 10,000 people on the Corporation's waiting list.
I think this was one of the matters dealt with in recent discussions with members of the Corporation.
