Vol. 207 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Discrimination in the Six Counties.

1.

asked the Taoiseach whether the Government propose to make further strong representations to the British Government on the problem of planned discrimination in the six occupied counties.

I have nothing to add to the reply I gave last week to a similar question from the Deputy.

May I ask the Taoiseach if he has reliable and irrefutable evidence that this discrimination in the Six Counties, to which he referred last week, does in fact obtain there?

The Taoiseach has? May I ask him if he has that information, would he consider handing it over to the British Government for their attention?

It has been published on many occasions.

Has the Taoiseach done anything with this information? Has he made any use of it whatever with a view to remedying the situation?

What steps has he taken?

I am not prepared to go into any greater detail than I have done.

If the Taoiseach will not, I will ask the question again next week.
