The only proposals for these areas before my Department at present are the Dundrum regional water supply scheme and three small water supply extensions in South Tipperary. A public inquiry into proposals for acquisition of land and water rights for the Dundrum scheme has been held and the report on the inquiry is being examined. Contract documents for the scheme are also under consideration. Proposals for the water supply extensions were submitted recently, and are being examined in my Department.
