Vol. 207 No. 9

Committee on Finance. - Vote 55—Repayments to Contingency Fund.

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £107 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1964, for the repayment to the Contingency Fund of a certain Advance.

The purpose of the Vote which is passed towards the end of the financial year, is to repay the Contingency Fund any sums issued from it since it was last replenished, other than advances for expenditure covered by or repayable out of other Votes. The amount of the Contingency Fund, showing the advances, repayments effected and advances outstanding is published with the Annual Appropriation Accounts. The item of expenditure which necessitates this year's Vote is shown on the face of the Estimate and represents the cost of the State funeral which was accorded to the late Domhnall Ua Buachalla.

Vote put and agreed to.
