Sketch layout and house plans for a 62 house scheme at Caherina and a ten house scheme for elderly persons at Stack's Villas, Tralee, were first received in my Department on 17th October, 1963. Following discussions early in November at the request of the housing authority between technical officers of the housing authority and my Department, revised plans were received in the Department on 13th January for the Caherina scheme and on 24th idem for the Stack's Villas scheme. Further discussions of a technical nature on the plans for both schemes took place on 6th February last, following which the final versions of the plans are now awaited from the housing authority.
There has been no avoidable delay by my department in dealing with these proposals.
