Vol. 208 No. 4

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as set out on the Order Paper in the following order: No. 6, Votes 18, 56 and 30; No. 7, and No. 8, Votes 48, 44 and 45. It is proposed to take the Central Fund Bill after the conclusion of the discussion on the Supplementary Estimates.

That is the introduction of the Central Fund Bill?

The introduction.

Is the Taoiseach in a position today, or will he be in a position this day week, to indicate the date on which it is intended to introduce the Budget?

I am not in a position to answer that question.

Surely the Taoiseach will be in a position to make a statement before the recess. It would be very awkward if he did not, if we recess next Thursday.

It is very doubtful that we will recess on Thursday.

I gather it is intended to take the Central Fund Bill and the External Affairs Estimate on Thursday?

The Central Fund Bill will be taken tomorrow.
