asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that there are now practically no landing facilities at Kilcummin pier, Lacken, County Mayo, for two Bord Iascaigh Mhara boats and twelve local fishing boats giving employment to fifty people; and if he will have this landing slip examined at a very early date with a view to having the necessary works carried out there to put the slip in a landing condition.

The landing facilities at Kilcummin were improved less than a year-and-a-half ago and I am not aware that they are inadequate for the fishing boats based there. I shall, however, continue to keep the position under review.
