In addition, pensions are payable in respect of each eligible child at the rate of £37 2s. 11d. per annum while the mother is living and at the rate of £54 9s. 9d. if the mother dies. An eligible child is a son under the age of 18 years and a daughter under the age of 21 years and unmarried.
