The text of a resolution passed by Dublin City Council regarding the local taxation system, was received in my Department on 7th February, 1964. A reply was issued on 15th February, indicating the various investigations that are at present being made into the structure of local finance and taxation and intimating that the council's views would be conveyed to those conducting the investigations.
