Following the notice I gave the Dáil on 19 February when moving the Supplementary Estimate for Miscellaneous Expenses, I have discussed further with the Racing Board the application of the turnover tax to on-course betting at horse races. The matter is still under consideration and I am not yet in a position to make a statement.
