As announced in the newspapers a few days ago, the Agricultural Wages Board has decided to make an Order increasing, as from 4th May next, the statutory minimum rates of wages payable to agricultural workers. The increase in the case of adult male workers will be 15/- a week over the present rate and £1 a week more than the rate fixed up to 30th December last.
