Vol. 209 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Prices of Foyle River Fish.

24.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the fact that Northern Ireland fish merchants can pay more per pound in respect of fish caught in the River Foyle than Donegal merchants can; and that this is due to a levy paid in respect of fish for export; and if, in view of this, he will consider re-examination of the matter.

When the Parliamentary Secretary says "No," does he mean he is not aware of it?

I am not aware that the facts contained in the question put down by the Deputy are accurate.

Would the Parliamentary Secretary find out if they are correct?

I find they are incorrect.

Would the Parliamentary Secretary inquire into it?

I have inquired.
