Vol. 209 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tibradden (Dublin) Houses.

43.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has refused to sanction the building of six houses in Tibradden, County Dublin; and, if so, why.

The answer is "no". The layout of a six house scheme at Tibradden was approved by me in July, 1963 on condition that the county medical officer did not object to the proposed sewerage arrangements involving discharge of effluent from a common septic tank into an adjoining stream. I understand that the county medical officer was not prepared to agree to this disposal system and that the consulting engineer is examining alternative arrangements.
