asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the procedings for the acquisition of the Blake Estate at Raford, Kiltulla, Athenry, County Galway.

Owners' objections to acquisition of this estate by the Land Commission are pending for disposal. Until these objections have been finally dealt with, it is not possible to forecast the outcome.

53.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to divide the Stewart Farm at Coose, Whitegate, County Galway.

It is not yet possible to indicate when this farm, comprising 38 acres and commonage shares, which vested in the Land Commission on 1st January last will be allocated but there will be no avoidable delay.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to divide the Torpey Farm at Derrygoolin, Whitegate, County Galway.

55.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to divide the Brogan Farm at Derrygoolin, Whitegate, County Galway.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 54 and 55 together.

Work on the formulation of resale proposals for these two farms is well advanced and it is hoped to include the lands in the current year's allotment programme.
