It is not possible to give the value of raw materials imported and actually used in the manufacture of margarine. The information available relates to the value of imports classified to certain headings in the Official Import List which include raw materials imported which could, among other uses, be employed in the manufacture of margarine, either in the state in which they are imported or after preliminary processing. I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the value of such raw materials imported in each year 1961 to 1963 and also the total (f.o.b.) value of butter exported in the same years.
