asked the Minister for Health how many places were available in special homes for mentally handicapped children at 31st December in each of the years 1948, 1951, 1954, 1957, 1960 and 1963.
The number of beds available in the special institutions for the mentally handicapped on 31st December of each of the years in question was as follows:—
