The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that, owing to pressure of more urgent work, the preparation of working drawings for this project has taken longer than expected. Good progress is now being made with the drawings, and the Commissioners expect to invite tenders in six to nine months time. Building operations will commence as soon as a tender has been accepted.
