asked the Minister for Lands if he will explain his statement that there were issues between parties concerned with game which were hindering development.

I presume the question springs from my references to repeated appeals for an end to faction and mutual suspicion in the sphere of game development. The Deputy will no doubt be aware that there are two opposing voluntary groups in the game movement, each of which claims the support of a number of regional game councils. It goes without saying that a situation of this nature can only aggravate the difficulties of game development. I might add that a recent appeal by me to bring about a reconciliation has not yet proved successful.
