asked the Minister for Lands what proposals there are for the acquisition of land in County Wexford for division and allotment.
In County Wexford a total of 34 estates aggregating some 3,900 acres are at present the subject of inquiry with a view to considering acquisition or purchase. In addition, negotiations are in progress for voluntary purchase of 20 properties comprising some 1,960 acres and proceedings are at various stages for compulsory acquisition of 11 estates containing 600 acres.
