Mr. James Tully

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give particulars of local authority employment from June, 1962 to date in the form of a reply of 19th July, 1962; the existing weekly rate of wages of road workers in each county; and the operative date and amount of the last adjustment.

NOTE 2: The Mayo figures include a large number of farmers who hold small maintenance contracts with the county council.

NOTE 3: January, 1965 is the latest date for which complete details are available regarding the number of road workers.
