The answer to the first part of the Deputy's question is that statutory price control is at present exercised only in relation to the retail price of bottled milk in the Dublin Sale District.
As regards the second part of the question, my powers of intervention in relation to the charging of excessive prices for goods or services lie in the provisions of the Prices Act, 1958.
