Vol. 216 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as set out on the Order Paper in the following order: Nos. 2, 5, 12, 6, 13, 14, 15—Votes 37, 8, and 9. It is proposed to take Questions at 2.30 p.m. In view of the fact that Monday is a bank holiday, the Dáil will meet next week on Wednesday and Thursday only.

Has the Taoiseach yet decided whether or not he will allow the two Private Bills, Nos. 3 and 4 on the Order Paper?

I shall fix the date for them next week, if the Deputy wishes.

That does not say we are agreeing to their First Reading.

No, but a date can be fixed.

Say Wednesday next?

The following week, if the Taoiseach does not mind?

All right.

I wish, Sir, to repeat the notice I gave you after Question Time yesterday of my intention to raise on the Adjournment the subject matters of Questions Nos. 31 to 35 to the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

The practice is that only one question may be raised.

They were taken together.

The Deputy may use the subject matter of all the questions but only one question may be raised.

May I take it you are accepting the intimation of my intention to raise this matter?

I shall notify the Deputy in the course of the day.
