I am informed by the Shannon Free Airport Development Company that in the year 1963-64, a total of 41,695 persons visited Bunratty Castle of whom 12,127 attended the Mediaeval Banquet. The figures for 1964-65 were 59,814 and 21,314 respectively. It is estimated that 30,000 persons will attend the Mediaeval Banquet in 1965-66. Estimates are not available of the number of other visitors to Bunratty Castle in 1965-66.
