Is is not true to say that there was a reduction of something like 12 or 15 per cent in the acreage of wheat, barley and beet sown between 1964 and 1965 and that there is a reduction of from 25 per cent to 30 per cent in the acreage sown over the past ten years?

The Deputy has been told that the figures for 1965 are not yet available.

The Taoiseach knows quite well that provisional figures have already been published and that there is a reduction of 13 per cent in the acreage of wheat sown and a reduction of 12,500 acres in the acreage of barley sown?

The figures for 1965 are not yet available.

The provisional figures were published a couple of months ago.

These were provisional figures. The official figures are not available.

The Parliamentary Secretary knows they vary very little.
